Kodachrome

By Adam Szymkowicz | Directed by Imogen Carter

Welcome to Cambridge, a small town where everybody knows each other and the pace of life allows the pursuit of love to take up as much space as it needs. Our tour guide is Suzanne, the town photographer, who lets us peek into her neighbours’ lives to catch glimpses of romance in all its stages of development. A play about love, nostalgia, the seasons and how we learn to say goodbye.

This play is undeniably unique: not only does the script tell a fantastic story but performing the show in promenade pushes the boundaries of student theatre, emphasising BATS as a pioneering theatre company who are determined to be innovative and creative in all the ways that they can be. It is a play that has never been put on in Cambridge before, and the promenade structure is one that is rarely seen. This play is a wonderful opportunity to highlight the beauty of Queens’ College and allow people to see it in a new and brilliantly thoughtful and sincere way.

As some of this performance will be occurring outside, please do wrap up warm and prepare for possible rain.
