Getting Here

Queens’ College, Silver Street, Cambridge, CB3 9ET

ON A BUS

There are bus stops located just outside Queens’ College Porter’s Lodge, going both ways. The following routes service these stops: 75, 199, TOUR, U, X3, and X75.

Bus timetables and maps are available from the county council.

ON A TRAIN

For those attending from outside of Cambridge, the nearest station is Cambridge Station (CBG). Having alighted at the station, Queens’ is a 30-odd minute walk – or a short bus ride – into town.

Parking Options

Very limited on-site parking may be available at Queens’, by the Fisher building. We can by no means guarantee parking availability; if this is something you may be interested in, please contact us in advance, and we will liaise with the porters.

The closest car park is the Grand Arcade Car Park, a 5-10 minute walk away. Alternatively, public street parking may be available around Queens’ Backs.

Finding the Fitzpat

Enter Queens’ via the Porter’s Lodge. There should be stewards or signage pointing you in the right direction, but if in doubt ask the porters. Head through Cripps Court and down the alley past Queens’ Bar.

Be careful to check for signage, as the configuration of the hall is a little confusing! There is a separate door for the Black Box Studio, as to the main Fitzpatrick Hall, but there should be signs directing your entry along the way.

Tickets Info

Once you have completed your ticket purchase – via the respective event/show page on the site – you should shortly receive an email containing your tickets and any pertinent information about the event you are attending.

Tickets can be purchased:

  • On our website via the event’s page;
  • If you wish to book via email or over the phone, please contact us and we will endeavour to accommodate your request promptly.

Should you need to change to a different showing date, having already purchased a ticket, you can request this here.

Audience Accessibility

Patrons with disabilities or accessibility concerns should feel free to contact the committee, who will do their best to accommodate them. These patrons may also want to identify themselves to the porters, on arrival in the College, for advice on navigating the College safely, accessing toilets, etc.

WHEELCHAIR ACCESS

Wheelchair bookings can be made for performances in the Fitzpatrick Hall (and also in Cloister Court). Patrons can either transfer from their wheelchair to a seat, or a space will be cleared so that the patron may stay in their chair — whichever option is most desired, we will will do our utmost to accommodate.

We only ask for some forewarning and patience as we seek to ensure everything runs smoothly.
